CIOs failing to conduct cloud computing risk assessments
“A new survey by Protiviti has found that cybersecurity tops chief information officers’ concerns, with 84 percent of CIOs stating that they are either concerned or very concerned about the risks associated with IT security breaches. Yet while security issues remain the biggest concern that CIOs have about migrating their technology functions to the cloud, less than half (45 percent) test cloud vendors’ security systems and procedures.” <<READ MORE>>

“We learn that and much more from the latest Customer Loyalty in Retail Banking report just released by Bain & Company, a consultancy. The researchers have looked into 14 markets around the world and have surveyed 5,200 American consumers to gauge their traditional banking habits and attitudes toward newer channels, such as mobile banking.
